OneNewsNow: Amazon, Pushed By LGBT Activist, Drops Numerous Books
Amazon.com apparently is in full lock step with the homosexual agenda as it continues to discontinue books about ex-homosexuals.
Amazon's latest gift to the left is to ban sales of books that help people deal with homosexuality and transgenderism – and ultimately leave the lifestyles for good.
Amazon bows to LGBT agenda
British LGBT activist Roger (Rojo) Alan was reportedly the one who initially convinced Amazon to stop selling the books, according to CBN News, which noted that he told Gay Star News it took him three months to persuade the world’s largest retailer to discontinue the titles that go to show that homosexuality is a learned – not an inherited – behavior.
The books Alan got Amazon to pull were from the late Catholic psychologist, Dr. Joseph Nicolosi – who wrote many books on reparative therapy for homosexuals. He is dubbed, “the father of conversion therapy.” His major work, A Parents Guide to Preventing Homosexuality, was the primary book under contention that was first pulled.
The Christian Post (CP) announced that many other books about people leaving the LGBT lifestyle are being pulled from Amazon’s offerings, as well, including the works of Jan Paulk of the Restored Hope Network, such as Restoring Sexual Identity: Hope for Women Who Struggle with Same-Sex Attraction.
Covering all bases …
Alan’s perseverance to forward the LGBT agenda was also seen over the Internet. “Alan persisted and began demanding people on social media bombard the books with bad reviews while researching ways in which the books violated Amazon's rules on publishing,” the U.K.’s Daily Wire noted.
The LGBT activist explained to a homosexual advocacy daily his maneuverings to get all books exposing the lies about homosexuality – regarding conversion therapy – out of Amazon’s inventory. "So since then, I had been working on getting these books pulled," Alan told Pink News, as reported by the Daily Wire. "I contacted Amazon regularly to speak to them about the books – about how unethical they are. Once I gathered everything, I went back to Amazon and I threw all the information I had at them in several conversations – yet I was given the same. ‘We will refer this to the relevant team.'"
The LGBT activist expressed relief when his mission to get Amazon to bow down to the homosexual agenda was finally accomplished. “I’m currently in Starbucks – I’m so close to crying that all my efforts seem to have paid off," Alan announced at the time, according to the Daily Wire report published after all of Nicolosi’s books were banned on Amazon.
Amazon now part of LGBT movement
One of the books that disappeared – Desires in Conflict: Hope for Men Who Struggle with Sexual Identity – was written by Joe Dallas, a California-based pastoral counselor, and he told OneNewsNow that the company is selling out to the LGBT movement. “That movement absolutely has the two-fold goal of normalizing homosexuality in the culture and then silencing anyone who objects to that normalization,” Dallas explained.
This normalization process is systematically happening via bans on conversion therapy in some states, in speech codes at schools, at places of business, on social media platforms and now with Amazon.com. “It is, I believe, a part of a much broader approach to force a monolithic viewpoint on gender and sexuality, which is not just a goal of the LGBTQ movement – it's a goal of the political left in America,” Dallas argued.
He went onto point out that the movement for LGBTQ rights is essentially winning activists the right to strongarm opponents into silence.
Dallas – whose latest book is available on his website – mentioned an online petition that is gathering signatures from people who are opposed to the movement on religious grounds – or for those who understand the danger of the progressive slide to the left.[/qwote]
