Professor Tamara Lyell: But as you can see on these runes discovered near Ashkelon in the Eastern Medit.... Tamara's voice is cut off by the ringing of the evening bell, signifying the end of the evening's classes ...and that means we'll continue our studies tomorrow evening; safe travels, she says to the small class studying the ancient runes of Mediterrania; as she watched the students filing out of the large hall, she took off her reading glasses and sighed, another day's lectures in the books....
Professor Lyell: After securing the runes and making sure everything was in its' place - the Rune Lecture Hall was her domain - she walked up the long stone-lain aisle and exited the hall; in the near distance, the sounds of her students could be heard as they headed back to the dorms for the night. After closing the lecture hall doors, she turned and headed out towards the courtyard, her scarlet and gold professorial robe flowing around her, the sounds of her hiking boots - the Professor often led students on field expeditions across the Isles, thus the footwear - making quiet sounds as she walked. Underneath her robe she wore a black button-down shirt and black cargo pants - "a good explorer never goes without pockets anywhere", she once opined - but what struck her as unique was her ladies' fedora, complete with a Springbok feather adorning it - a gift from a mountain guide w/the Queen's Cape Town Rifles - which she wore during lectures; the formal Hogwarts headware she kept for official functions. Just inside her robe, clipped to her cargo pants, was her Wand - a 10 3/4" Rowan wood supple wand w/a Phoenix Feather core bound by several cloth bindings. Waving to a couple of younger students, she stepped outside and looked upward, gazing at the stars as they shined brightly in the evening sky...
