(Daily Kos Elections) AL-Gov: GOP Gov. Kay Ivey is cruising 58-26 over her nearest opponent, Tommy Battle, with 20% reporting and should be able to avoid a runoff. Democrat Walt Maddox has a 52-31 lead on Sue Bell Cobb.

(Daily Kos) Looks like the Dems are substantially out polling repubs in NJ 2, 7, and 11. Should be three dem pickups in NJ in midterms.

(Daily Kos) Looking at Menendez’s weak primary showing, do you think he might get a decent challenger next time or will the corrupt conservative NJ machine crush any attempts at a challenge for one of its most corrupt members. *Disclaimer * nothing good can be said about the NJ machine, it is an abomination and every politician backing it is a disgrace and a cancer on politics especially Sweeney

(Daily Kos) Where we are right now: Ivey and Maddox probably win outright Roby-Bright runoff in AL-02 (although she could still get 50%+1) Cavanaugh-Ainsworth runoff in AL-lt. gov Baria-Sherman runoff in MS-Sen (wow that's bad) Guest-Parker/Hughes runoff in MS-03 JVD wins NJ-02 Welle wins NJ-04 Sherrill wins NJ-11 Menendez is weak, bit the nominee MO-SD-17 is a big pickup.

(Daily Kos Elections) Big news! Democrats have picked up a GOP-held seat in the Missouri state Senate in a special election tonight! With all precincts reporting, Democrat Lauren Arthur has a 60-40 lead over her Republican opponent. That represents a giant 24-point swing from Trump’s 49-45 victory here in 2016.

(Daily Kos) Blue tsunami is gonna smash into NJ this November. I’m getting more convinced by the day. Extend it to NY and VA and Repubs are toast.

(Daily Kos) There are 5 Repub House seats in Jersey. I’d be very surprised if they ended up with more than 2 after the midterms. There is an outside shot of complete wipeout for them (losing all 5) because we have a strong candidate against McArthur in Andy Kim (NJ-3) and we had a strong primary in NJ-4 for Christopher Smith’s seat

(Daily Kos Elections) NJ-05 (R) (44% in): Good news for John McCann! He just took a 53-47 lead on Steve Lonegan. NJ-11 (R) (51% in): For the right to take on Democrat Mikie Sherrill in this open GOP-held seat, the Republican primary is currently Webber 39, DeNeufville 35, Ghee 18.

(Daily Kos Elections) NM-Gov (D): We’re now at 13% reporting in the Land of Enchantment, and Rep. Michelle Lujan Grisham has a massive 49-23 lead on Jeff Apodaca for this open (and eminently flippable) governor’s seat. The limited polling we had predicted an MLG blowout.

(Daily Kos Elections) NJ-11 (R): The AP has called the race for Assemblyman Jay Webber, an ardent Trump backer. He’s currently beating wealthy businessman Peter De Neufville 41-33. He’ll take on Democrat Mikie Sherrill, who’s proven to be a monster fundraiser, for this GOP-held open seat that Trump carried by just a single point in 2016.
(Daily Kos Elections) NM-Gov (D): No surprise here: The AP has called it for Rep. Michelle Lujan Grisham, who is running away with it. She’ll take on fellow Rep. Steve Pearce for this open seat.
